The Morongo USD named Jason Schmit as our April Employee of the Month!
Mr. Schmit is a STEAM teacher at Twentynine Palms Junior High School. He was nominated for the District's Employee of the Month recognition for his outstanding work facilitating the Career Exploration Learning Lab. The CELL lab teaches students STEAM curriculum through innovative activities; right now his class is building and designing their own model houses!
"He is constantly researching and learning about different STEAM opportunities to stay current for his student," said Principal Derek Swem. "We're lucky to have him on our staff!"
