Welcome to our Morongo Unified School District Grounds Department, "A job with 3 seasons, clean air, and plenty of sunshine!"
Our goal is to provide a safe, pleasing, and functional learning environment that is conducive to our students' education and well-being.
A normal work day is spent maintaining the 307 acres of landscape, sports fields, and playgrounds at our 22 District sites throughout the Morongo Basin, and when we're not on routine jobs, chances are you will find us on one of the many playgrounds or site landscape renovation projects that we accomplish each year. We accomplish this with the employees listed below and the Grounds Supervisor.
At the end of the day, it's really gratifying seeing our students having fun on a new playground, winning a ball game, or just enjoying the cool shade and reading a book under one of our trees.
