Yucca Valley High School, a fully accredited WASC school, is the largest comprehensive high school in the rural Morongo Unified School District and serves the west end of our vast desert district. Students from the towns of Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley, and the unincorporated areas of Pioneertown, Landers, Johnson Valley, and Joshua Tree all attend YVHS. Serving the basin for more than 50 years, Yucca Valley High School continues the strong traditions rooted its foundation established in 1968.

Welcome to Yucca Valley High School and the new school year!  My name is Justin Monical, and I am the principal at YVHS, the home of the Trojans.  Our Trojan PRIDE is strong, and this year is no exception to that. Each new year presents a "Black & Gold"en opportunity for our Trojans to shine.

Yucca Valley High School is an amazing school with loads to offer our students.  For nearly a decade, YVHS has been growing course offerings that provide students with choices to prepare them for college and career.  Our caring and nurturing staff exist to accomplish one thing, and that is to prepare our students for their future.  YVHS is never done growing and continually working towards improvement in all areas, including strengthening our partnerships with our community.  We foster a growth mindset that never allows us to settle for anything less than our best.
