PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. There are three main components to PBIS. They are:
*Teaching appropriate Sidewinder Expectations in all settings on campus
*Interventions when Sidewinder Expectations are not met
*Recognizing students when Sidewinder Expectations are met
PBIS is a team-based school wide design for discipline that includes all students and all staff in all settings. It is a framework that can be revisited and revised in order to best meet the needs of our students and families. These revisions are the result of input given on surveys completed by students, parents, and staff and the analysis of discipline data.
